this is my 2020 maths grid results. we work on getting 100 out of 100 then getting a faster time than trying to get faster then Mrs hall!. At the moment I am working to get 100 out of 100 

term three goals

This is the term three-goal.
My crazy holiday was good I had a good time and enjoyed it a lot I got to see some of my family and danced a lot.

Rocket lab reading.

This Is my reading that we had to do for Rocket lab and then we had to explain About the secret rocket lab in mahia that shoots rocket up into space we were going to go see them and have a zoom meeting with them but they didn't reply We are really excited to meet with them.

Stability test on Rocket

Here is my group slide that has our stability test and  there is a video of launching a rocket and as flying a rocket around To see if it is stable And if it was not stable we had to put a coin in if it was cartwheeling we had to move the fins of the rockets back

This Is my leaf experiment and my group had to do two of them. One of my partner's did one of them and the rest of the group did one other of them, the top 1 the single person did and the bottom one the rest of the group did, including me.

Snake Report.

We had to chosse between snakes or tigers. I picked snakes because i don't know much about them so it is good to find out.Snakes are cool but not when they bite.I am really looking forward to doing my snake report and seeing if i did a great or good job.

Hippos Report.

Our class Tawhirimatea we had to do something to do with hippos and what they ate and what they did and also Diet,Habitat,General facts,Appearance those were our subtilties and we have to read a storie and write it in our own words. we had to do the snake and tiger one after we were finished.I really enjoyed working and reading this book and stories.I t was lots and lots of fun

Rocket Desing

This is my groups rocket design that Ambar came up with because she is the designer of the rocket so she designed our rocket for us and bilit it well we were doing other thing because she was almost finished so she took it home and spry painted it for us and it looked so pretty when she brang it back.

Here is the design we made it out of coke bottle grab 1 more cut the top off and glue it on and for the fins grab some plastic and reuse we shape it how we wanted and we pointed the tip to make it Aerodynamic to make it fly better. Here is the photo:

Safety poster.

me and my group had to cretie this poster that was somthing to do with safety because we are always safe and don't let anyone get hurt.we like to be safe because our class Tawhirimatea deos not like people getting hurt that would be sore.we hate people getting hurt so we created a poster. here is the poster.

Kite Investigation

                     


This is my kite investigation. I built kites and try to fly them when there was wind. It wasnt easy because we had to keep trying and there was barely any wind for the whole week. It was fun seeing everybody elses designs on google meets. This is a film clip of me my family testing a kite.

Autumn Love

I think Andy Goldsworth has neat art work. He is a naturalist artist. I have tried to copy him by using leaves, bark and sticks from out side. All items I collected were off the ground, I did not pick or pull anything from trees. I like this type of art. It made me feel good getting out side and seeing what I could create with items that are natural. I called this piece Autumn Love as being out side is so beautiful at the moment. Autumn is my favourite time of year and being Autumn now I was able to gather up great natural colours for my art. 

Catapult plane experiment Term 2

This is my paper plane experiment. I used bands to catapult my planes and record my data. I found this experiment interesting as I thought different bands would catapult my plane future but didnt. I found that rubber bands worked best. I will use different techniques next time to see if my results change. This experiment was fun. 

How good am I at maths ?

On Monday and Wednesday, my class does a maths grid.  I am trying to get a high score of it and my highest is score is 47.you learn from it and that's why it helps you. The more I score the better I get. I enjoyed trying to think harder and harder.
